The Collington Square Banner Project
A Symbol of Identity
The Collington Square Neighborhood Association partnered with City Life Community Builders and Graham Projects, a Baltimore-based creative agency dedicated to making cities more inclusive and livable, to design banners inspired by the ecosystem and history of communities.
Utilizing the original 25-year-old logo from the Collington Square Neighborhood Association the artist created a variety of banner designs. The design selected by community residents features the silhouette of a White Oak. This tree positioned magnificently atop the hill at Collington Avenue and Preston Street in Collington Square Park represents Collington Square Neighborhood's everlasting roots amidst the changes occurring in the community.
